Elliott Tree Farm is an iconic circa 1850 family Christmas Tree & Maple Syrup Farm located north of the scenic village of Hillsburgh in the Town of Erin approximately 1 hour from Toronto. Just between Winston Churchill Blvd and Trafalgar Road. We have been creating authentic traditions and warm family memories since 1983.
In the winter, our farm transforms into a Hallmark-style wonderland with cut-your-own and fresh cut Christmas trees, cozy bonfires, dining in the Horse Barn Canteen, and the charm of our Heritage Barn Gift Shop. From February through October, families return for our maple syrup experiences—tours of the Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario, tastings, and walks through the sugarbush.

Farm Fresh Christmas Trees • An Hour North of Toronto
Elliott Tree Farm has been celebrating authentic Christmas traditions since 1983, making it an iconic holiday destination. Begin your tradition this season with our unforgettable Christmas tree experience. Stroll through the farm to choose your perfect tree—cut your own or select one from our Field Stone Christmas Tree Cellar, filled with Fraser Fir and Balsam Fir. Every tree customer receives exclusive access to Santa’s Cabin, where children can drop off their wish lists and families can capture treasured memories. On select weekends, tree purchasers receive a special Golden Ticket to Santa’s Cabin to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus. Afterward, warm up with hot chocolate and cozy treats in the heated horse barn Canteen, shop for our award winning maple syrup and other delights in the Heritage Barn Gift Shop and Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario, and take picture-perfect photos at our one-of-a-kind holiday sets.
No reservations required. No parking or entrance fee. Dogs are welcome on a leash.
Open Daily 9 am to 5pm from November 15 through December 23. Our cut your own groves open until 4 pm, our Field Stone Christmas Tree Cellar is open until 5pm.
Santa’s Cabin Experience
Exclusively for our Christmas tree customers. Open daily from 10-4 pm with Santa and Mrs. Claus in the cabin from 11-3 pm last 2 weekends in November & first 2 weekends in December.

At Elliott Tree Farm, maple season is more than just syrup—it’s an authentic Canadian experience you can enjoy year-round. From the sweet excitement of our Weekend Maple Syrup Experience during peak harvest season, to the immersive Maple Sugarbush Tour & Tasting offered spring through fall, and the rich history showcased in the Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario inside our Heritage Barn Giftshop, there’s a maple adventure for everyone. Each visit offers a unique way to connect with nature, history, and the timeless taste of pure maple syrup.
Book your Maple Syrup Experience tickets before Christmas and receive $5 off each ticket! Join us during peak maple harvest season (late February to mid April) for a classic sugar shack adventure, complete with tastings, trails, all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast and toasty campfires.
Enjoy a guided tour of our sugarbush, taste our award-winning syrups, try maple taffy over ice, visit the Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario, indulge in our famous Elliott Tree Farm waffle & ice cream sandwich, and explore the fascinating history of maple syrup in Canada. Runs mid April to mid November.
The Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario is now within an hour of the GTA! The Museum is open to visitors on weekends and included in our Maple & Christmas experiences.
