Elliott Tree Farm is an iconic circa 1850 family Christmas Tree & Maple Syrup Farm located north of the scenic village of Hillsburgh in the Town of Erin approximately 1 hour from Toronto. Just between Winston Churchill Blvd and Trafalgar Road. We have been creating authentic traditions and warm family memories since 1983.
In the winter, our farm transforms into a Hallmark-style wonderland with cut-your-own and fresh cut Christmas trees, cozy bonfires, dining in the Horse Barn Canteen, and the charm of our Heritage Barn Gift Shop. From February through November, families return for our maple syrup farm experiences—tours of the Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario, tastings, and walks through the sugarbush.

MAPLE SYRUP FARM EXPERIENCES
Experience a real Canadian maple syrup farm in every season at Elliott Tree Farm. From the magic of maple harvest to immersive guided tours throughout the year, this experience offers a hands-on look at one of Canada’s most iconic traditions.
Enjoy a guided tour of our sugarbush, taste our award-winning syrups, try maple taffy over ice, visit the Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario, indulge in our famous waffle & ice cream sandwich, and explore the fascinating history of maple syrup in Canada. Runs April 11th to November 8th.
Step into peak maple season when the sap is flowing and the sugar shack is alive! Maple Syrup Harvest Season Open weekends from Family Day through April 4, 2027, plus Monday and Friday of March Break, Good Friday and Easter Monday.
The Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario is now within an hour of the GTA! The Museum is open to visitors on weekends and included in our Maple & Christmas experiences.

Begin your tradition this season with our unforgettable Christmas tree experience. Stroll through the farm to choose your perfect tree—cut your own or select one from our Field Stone Christmas Tree Cellar, filled with Fraser Fir and Balsam Fir. Afterward, warm up with hot chocolate and cozy treats in the heated horse barn Canteen, shop for our award-winning maple syrup and other delights in the Heritage Barn Gift Shop and Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario, and take your own picture-perfect photos at our one-of-a-kind vintage holiday backdrops.
No reservations required. No parking or entrance fee. Dogs are welcome on a leash.
Our cut your own plantations are open until 4 pm, our Field Stone Christmas Tree Cellar is open until 5pm.

Climb aboard The Santa Express and travel through Santa’s Enchanted Forest on your way to Santa’s Cabin, where holiday surprises, Santa and Mrs. Claus are waiting for you.
