Elliott Tree Farm is a circa 1890 family Christmas Tree & Maple Syrup Farm located
north of the scenic village of Hillsburgh approximately 1 hour from Toronto.
The Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario is open on Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 11 am to 3 pm at Elliott Tree Farm and is the gateway to the breathtaking regions of Erin, Caledon, Headwaters, and Fergus Elora. Stop in, stretch your legs, and take in the museum while shopping for small batch maple products with a cup of coffee or tea along with some of our fresh baked maple butter tarts or maple fudge. There is no entrance or parking charge, and dogs are welcome on a leash.
Our Maple Experience opens Family day long weekend on February 15, 16, 17 and runs every weekend through April 6 plus Monday, March 10 & Friday, March 14 of March break as well as April 4th (PD Day).
Our Maple Syrup Experience includes entry to the Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario, all you can eat pancakes and a side of bacon and breakfast sausage with our award-winning Ontario pure maple syrup, and a walk on our sugar shack trail to our maple sugar shack to see maple syrup being made firsthand while tasting maple taffy over snow, maple sugar, sap and syrup.
Throughout the holiday season the farm transforms into a winter wonderland comparable to a scene in a Hallmark movie with indoor dining in our heated Horse Barn Canteen, Heritage barn gift shop, Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario, Bonfire, Farm Trails, Field Stone Christmas Tree Cellar with lots of Fraser Fir & Balsam Fir trees. No reservations required. No parking or entrance fee.
Open Daily 9 am to 5pm from November 16 through December 23. Our cut your own groves open until 4 pm, our Field Stone Christmas Tree Cellar is open until 5pm.
The Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario is open daily 9-5 from Nov 16-Dec 22 and is part of our Christmas Experience. No ticket, pass, reservation or entrance fee required and offering our award-winning small batch maple syrup and small museum collector bottles.
Open every weekend 11 AM to 3 PM
For the summer we are open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm offering our selection of potted spruce and maple landscape trees as well as our award-winning small batch maple syrup. If you are a photographer, have a photographer or would just like to come to our farm and take memorable photography, you can reserve a photography session access pass with us.

The Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario is now within an hour of the GTA! The Museum is open to visitors during the Elliott Tree Farm Christmas and Maple Syrup Season hours.

Our Heritage Gift Barn has plenty of amazing gifts and decor, including handmade wreaths & bows, our award winning pure maple syrup, local gifts and more!
HORSE BARN CANTEEN
Open during our Maple & Christmas Tree experiences. The Horse Barn Canteen is also available to rent for private groups, offering a very unique experience.
